Eric Hamel is a senior system architect within Cisco designing innovative solutions addressing the service provider market.

Eric has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications sector specifically around on mobile technologies and architectures (3G/LTE, Packet Core, Small Cells).

Aligning with market evolution towards IoT, Eric is now focusing on Cisco Service Provider IoT solutions including Low Power Wide Area (LoRa), private LTE soutions and data orchestration.

Prior to joining Cisco, Eric was a research engineer at France Telecom R&D working on GSM and UMTS core network architectures. He was involved in standardisation (ETSI and 3GPP).
